Challenge Question:

How might we get people of all generations involved in solving real-world problems?

Diversity is a big question in today's increasingly globalized world: race, sexuality, gender, and religion -- but what about generational diversity?

Each generation has its strengths and its weaknesses, and with each stage in our lives, our worldly perspectives change. These characteristics can easily separate us, but what if we blended them together What kind of change could we make if we joined the strengths of people from all generations?

This is a question I asked myself during a dinner conversation I was having with my parents.  Thinking back to a school intensive week last year exploring the Think Wrong process, I realized this is something that must be thought about with a Think Wrong approach.

My goal was to discover how cross-generational contamination could spark innovative ideas and a new forum for addressing real-world problems. I hoped to help people connect emphatically with other generations and find inspiration in one another's stories.

I conducted a pilot event designed to spark conversation and connection among people of all ages. The event was based around Think Wrong activities, designed to get us out of our routines of problem solving and into the realm of what is possible!

This website culminates my project. It contains resources from my process, media, reflections from the event, and a collaboration space to share your own stories or ideas. Hopefully, it gives you ideas and insights that inspire you to adapt these ideas in your own way.  Cheers to cross-generational connection!
